CCSO: “Santa Comes Early for Property Crime Victims”

Nakina, NC – Columbus County Sheriff’s Office Detectives recently executed a search warrant on Nucket Lane near Nakina, North Carolina. This operation uncovered a significant recovery of stolen property, including three trailers, a camper, and a dirt bike. Additionally, the investigation led to a breakthrough for the Narcotics Division, resulting in another search warrant that unveiled amounts of heroin, fentanyl, marijuana, and a firearm.

The following individuals were charged in connection with this case:

Skylar Ray Long

  • Charges: Two counts of Possession/Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Stolen Goods or Property, Possession of Firearm by Felon, PWISD Schedule II Controlled Substance, PWISD Schedule VI Controlled Substance, Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling for the Sale of a Controlled Substance, Two counts of Trafficking in Opium or Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia, and PWIMSD Schedule III Controlled Substance.
  • Bond: $100,000 secured.

Jonathan David Cumbee

  • Charges: Two counts of Possession/Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Stolen Goods or Property, PWISD Schedule II Controlled Substance, PWISD Schedule VI Controlled Substance, Two counts of Trafficking in Opium or Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia, and PWIMSD Schedule III Controlled Substance.

Linda Nicole Gore

  • Charges: PWISD Schedule II Controlled Substance, PWISD Schedule VI Controlled Substance, Two counts of Trafficking in Opium or Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia.

Jonathan Brett Dorsch

  • Charges: Possession of Stolen Goods/Property.
  • Bond: $2,500 unsecured.
