Tabor City, NC – On October 27, 2024, the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office VICE Narcotics Investigators, with critical support from the Patrol Division, successfully concluded an investigation involving the possession of automatic weapons, suppressed firearms, and a marijuana grow operation in the Tabor City community. This joint effort resulted in the arrest of two individuals from Tabor City: Mr. Dustin Randall Duncan and Ms. Regina Norris.
Charges:
Mr. Dustin Randall Duncan faces multiple charges, including:
Manufacturing Marijuana
Maintaining a vehicle or dwelling place for the sale of a controlled substance
Possession with intent to sell or deliver (PWISD) Marijuana
Possession of a firearm by a felon
Two counts of possession of a weapon of mass destruction
Additional related charges
Ms. Regina Norris was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.
Both individuals were booked at the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center. Mr. Duncan is currently being held without bond, while Ms. Norris received a secured bond set at $2,500.

The success of this operation wouldn’t have been possible without the dedicated support of our Patrol Division, whose attentiveness and teamwork were essential. Together, we’re making strides toward a safer Columbus County.”
