As a part of a larger project that changes how Lake Waccamaw and Highway 74/76 connect, town government has announced the following traffic pattern change:

“NCDOT has opened the overpass on Chaunceytown Road. Please note all east bound traffic must use the Chaunceytown Road detour for the next few weeks. The detour takes east bound traffic to 214 to Firetower Road to access Hwy 74/76.”
