Columbus Daily has learned of an incident at East Columbus Jr./Sr. High School. The school chool has released the following statement:

“Dear Parents and Guardians, We are reaching out to inform you about a verbal threat of violence that was reported to our school today. A student was overheard making a concerning statement, which was promptly reported to administration. The student was removed from the premises and processed by law enforcement. While we believe there was no credible threat in this instance, we take every report seriously. The safety and well-being of our students and staff is our highest priority. We appreciate your continued trust and support as we work to foster a positive and safe school for our students. Should you have questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me directly.
