Columbus County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday night that an arrest has been made in the case of missing woman Shanna Denise Perry.

Delco, NC – This evening, Lance Arrington Sandlin IV, 47, of Delco, was arrested and charged with the murder of Shanna Denise Perry, 38, also of Delco. Lance is currently being held without bond at the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.
The investigation into Shanna Perry’s disappearance began in May 2024. Despite extensive searches and hundreds of man-hours dedicated to finding Shanna, tonight, she remains missing. The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office has been assisted by the NC State Bureau of Investigation throughout the investigation. Columbus County Sheriff’s Office will continue searching for Shanna tonight.
This is an ongoing investigation. The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office remains steadfast in its commitment to finding Shanna and bringing justice to her family.
Authorities believe that multiple individuals may have been involved in Shanna Perry’s disappearance. Additional arrests are possible as the investigation progresses.
