At Wednesday’s CCS Teacher Convocation, hosted at East Columbus Jr./Sr. High school in Lake Waccamaw, CCS named the 2024-2025 Principal and Teacher of the year.

“All staff members attended convocation today at East Columbus Jr.-Sr. High School. The day focused on initiating our new Learning Framework, developed by the Curriculum and Instruction Department. Superintendent Beck also shared his vision for the upcoming year. Additionally, we recognized our Principals and Teachers of the Year.
Congratulations to Kristie Leinthall, Principal of the Year from Acme Delco Elementary, and Dr. Anthony Martin, Teacher of the Year from East Columbus Jr.-Sr. High.
