At Monday’s board meeting, Kandle Rogers announced she would resign as the board of the WCS school board, but would remain on the board after assaulting a public works employee earlier this year, and allegedly calling them a “N****r”.

This comes after the Columbus County branch of the NAACP called for her resignation.

Rogers claimed at the board meeting that she did “nothing she didn’t do”.
